I am dedicated, friendly, professional piano teacher. I am patient and committed to my students' success. The lessons I offer are not only educational, but also fun and enjoyable.
I offer beginner and advanced piano lessons for kids, teens, and adults at your place or at mine.
If your child is a beginner, my main goal would be not only to teach him/her how to read music and play the piano, but also would be to help your child to develop a taste for a classical music and guide him/her to form an inclination toward art of music in general. It is all achieved by the kind of music that is selected and played.
Very often the musical taste a child develops depends on what child learns to play in the beginning. Based on that, the future musical development of a child could lead him or her to become a professional musician, become someone who only appreciates fine music, or become someone who is indifferent to music altogether.
A piano student at any level has to be exposed to high quality music. It forms his or her interest toward music in general and helps them develop a certain taste in music. High quality music is the type of music which is full of harmony, expressiveness and a strong beat. The type of music that is selected should also have technical elements which help develop good motor skills and memory.
"Teaching music is not my main purpose. I want to make good citizens. If children hear fine music from the day of their birth and learn to play it, they develop sensitivity, discipline and endurance. They get a beautiful heart." — Shinichi Suzuki
