For many centuries, piano lessons have been an important part of children's development. Learning musical instruments from an early age helps teach self-discipline and focus, enhances creativity and self-expression, and builds self-esteem. The activity of playing a musical instrument makes neural connections in the brain that are linked closely to high academic achievement. Children also learn that they can find meaningful enjoyment in things other than video games, social networks, the internet and texting.

Experienced piano teacher, educated in Europe, with a total of 12 years of musical training, and over 20 years of teaching experience, offering beginner and advanced piano instruction and lessons for children, teens, and adults in the privacy of your own home or in the comfortable and student friendly atmosphere at my place. I am taking students from the age of 3 and older.

I am professional and dedicated, friendly piano teacher on Long Island and committed to my students' success. The lessons I offer are not only educational, but also fun and enjoyable.

I also hold piano recitals twice a year. It is a special time for my students to perform for their family and friends. Piano recitals are fun and meaningful for all parties involved: family, friends, students, and teachers alike.

I offer a free introductory lesson. It will allow me to assess your needs and expectations as a student as well as for you to observe and evaluate my services as a piano teacher, including personalities, comfort level, lesson expectations. It will allow me to learn about your or your child's musical background (if any) and level, and will give me the opportunity to determine about the lesson structure, and any other questions or concerns you may have before starting lessons .

My piano lessons include theory of music, ear training, technique and performance. But mainly, my lessons are designed towards helping children develop a love for playing the piano.

To help children learn and absorb new information I use flush cards, colorful piano keys note cubes, games for counting and memorizing keys.

I offer adult piano lessons on Long Island at my place or at your place.
